FGrabber FGrabber

FGrabber is an application for automatic microscope scanning of monolayers and sections.

Main features of the software:

Close
Monolayers in FGrabber; Control of microscope, (navigation, focusing, image grabbing) is automatically performed. Automatic high resolution scanning of monolayers is started and high resolution quality images (TIF) and .nuc files are saved. Automatic segmentation and classification is completed using rules contained in a rules set file. The rules set makes it possible to store only the correctly segmented cells, and classify them in to galleries containing different cell types.

  • Automatic high resolution scanning of monolayers and sections
  • Supports multiple slide scanning
  • Automatic control of microscope, (navigation, focusing, image grabbing)
  • Saves high quality images (TIF) and .nuc files
  • Automatic segmentation and classification (uses rule-files for classification)
  • Developed for both Ploidy and Nucleotyping

Classification is completed using rules contained in a rules set file. Different rules are used for different cell types and for monolayer and sections. The rules set makes it possible to store only the correctly segmented cells, and classify them in to galleries containing different cell types.

FGrabber is part of the Ploidy Work Station.
